- 18 July 1982: The Tom Baker stories begin, Sunday nights from 6:00 to 7:30.
- 1 May 1983: After a run of Peter Davison episodes, the series goes off the air for the summer.
- 28 August 1983: The series returns with season 19.
- 23 November 1983: The Five Doctors airs.
- 10 March 1985: The Jon Pertwee episodes begin, now at 5:00pm.
- 5 May 1985: Episodes are repeated at 11:30 the same night.
- 9 November 1986: The Colin Baker episodes begin.
- 28 December 1986: The 17 repackaged William Hartnell stories and five Patrick Troughton stories air.
- 1987: The 24 repackaged Jon Pertwee stories air, with a repeat in 1989.
