- Part One screened in the UK on 23 November 1988. Two days later, all three parts aired in New Zealand, as part of TVNZ's week-long 25th Anniversary / Silver Jubilee Celebrations. (This was not an omnibus; all three parts aired back to back, with the middle closing and opening titles removed, but with the "PART ONE / TWO / THREE" captions and recaps intact. There was a five minute break between parts 2 and 3 for a news bulletin.)
- This story was dubbed into German.
- A special look at the making of this serial was produced by the New Jersey Network, which aired on several US stations. Also made at that time were several filler shorts, including "Making of a Scene", "Conversation with Chris Clough", and "Behind the Scenes".
