- For reason unknown, this was the only serial of this batch that was not purchased by New Zealand. (Were the programme purchasers put off by the song?)
- Since Singapore had received its prints from New Zealand for all the other stories at this time, where did its copy of The Gunfighters come from?
- The serial screened in the United States from September 1985 as a NTSC conversion. Canada screened the serial in the 1990s. New Zealand and Sweden also later aired the serial in the early 2000s.
