The Pertwee series was sold in six "Groups" of stories.

GROUP A

AAA	Spearhead from Space	4
BBB	Doctor Who and the Silurians	7
CCC	The Ambassadors of Death	7
DDD	Inferno	7

• Some countries that bought Group A did not get Spearhead from Space.
• Inferno did not sell to any Commonwealth countries in the early 1970s, due to censorship issues. It was subsequently sold to Canada in 1977.
• These stories may have been dubbed into Arabic.

EEE	Terror of the Autons	4
FFF	The Mind of Evil	6
GGG	The Claws of Axos	4
HHH	Colony in Space	6
JJJ	The Daemons	5

• The Mind of Evil and The Daemons did not sell to any Commonwealth countries in the 1970s, due to censorship issues.
• These stories may have been dubbed into Arabic.

KKK	Day of the Daleks	4
LLL	The Sea Devils	6
MMM	The Curse of Peladon	4
NNN	The Mutants	6
OOO	The Time Monster	6

• This group of stories often aired in production code order.
• These stories may have been dubbed into Arabic.

QQQ	Frontier in Space	6
RRR	The Three Doctors	4
SSS	Planet of the Daleks	5/6
TTT	The Green Death	6

• This group of stories often aired in production code order.
• The Green Death did not sell to any Commonwealth countries until 1978, due to censorship issues.
• Some of these stories may have been dubbed into Arabic.

• This story was not available for sale until 1984; even then it was issued as a re-edited five-part story. All six parts were not made available until the early 1990s.

Prior to 1985, the Pertwee episodes were distributed in a number of different formats:

• Spearhead from Space was also available on 16mm colour film. It was made available in NTSC after 1985.

• Planet of the Daleks was not sold in its original PAL format, episode three having been wiped by late 1973.
• The same serial wasn't available in either colour format until 1985. It was released in PAL with part three in B/W, and in NTSC with part three edited 'around'.

• The Time Warrior was the last serial to be fully tele-recorded onto B/W 16mm film.

• This serial was not available in any format prior to 1984. It was later issued in PAL and NTSC without Part 1 which existed only as a b/w film print. It wasn't until the early 1990s that all 6 episodes were sold together.
