- The story was dubbed into Arabic.
- It was not sold anywhere in its original PAL format. The tapes had been wiped by 1973.
- For Whose Doctor Who (broadcast on 3 April 1977) a black and white clip was used from Doctor Who and the Silurians as that format was the best copy available at the time.
- It was by using an off-air recording taken off an October/November 1977 or February 1978 broadcast in Buffalo, New York, that enabled the BBC to attempt to restore the serial to full colour.
- The New Zealand prints of this story were returned to the BBC in 1984. (Although episodes one and two were heavily cut.)
Reissue
- It was released again in early 1985, as part of a package of all 24 Jon Pertwee stories, and sold in black and white only to the United States.
