Channel 2 (NBC)

• 18 September-24 November 1978: Aired Monday-Friday at 3pm.

• Apparently this station started adding its own sound-effects and laughter-track to the broadcasts – such as a burping Skarasen (Terror of the Zygons).

• Compilations were screened on Sunday afternoons – but these were 90 minutes with commercials, necessitating in some heavy editing – for instance, the last 10 minutes of The Masque of Mandragora was chopped out.

• 9 December 1982: On this date at 7.00pm, Channel 9 began a 3 and a half hour Doctor Who Festival, airing The Android Invasion and The Brain of Morbius back to back.
• 24 August 1983: As part of Summerfest '83, all of Revenge of the Cybermen is shown.
• 1985: The series aired Fridays and Saturdays.

• 1986: Screened the repackaged Jon Pertwee stories at 10.30pm, including The Ambassadors of Death.
• 1986-87: Screened the 17 repackaged William Hartnell stories and 24 repackaged Jon Pertwee stories.
• 20 December 1986: A special Saturday morning marathon features Genesis of the Daleks, Revenge of the Cybermen and Terror of the Zygons.
• 14 November 1987: Pertwee visited the city while touring with the Doctor Who USA Tour travelling exhibition. At 8.00pm that night, in honour of his visit, The Five Doctors aired, followed by the regular scheduled episode at 10.00pm.
