CABLE AND SATELLITE
For some countries, particularly in Europe and south east Asia, the new Doctor Who was available on cable or satellite stations; some countries also had a domestic stations carrying the series, but for many, this method was the only means by which the series was available. As such, the series reached an audience on a continental rather than by-country basis.
