- 5 November 1978: The Tom Baker stories begin, episodically, Sundays at 5:30pm.
- Spring 1980: The series ends. (There was no episode on 30 March 1980, although this may have been a one-off pre-emption to allow for Tennis coverage earlier that evening.)
- 14 May 1996: Now a Fox station, the TV movie airs.

- 1989: By this time, omnibus editions were airing on Saturdays.
- 21 January 1989: An unidentified omnibus edition (a 4-parter) aired from 8:00 to 9:30pm.
