Channel 5 (ABC)
This channel serviced both St Paul and Minneapolis.
- 1978: The Tom Baker stories first aired in an afternoon timeslot, then shifted to 1.30am after poor ratings.
- 1979-1981: Channel 5 screened Tom Baker stories on weekday afternoons until at least 1981.
St Paul
KTCA
Channel 2 (PBS)
- 28 December 1981: Channel 2 screened the first wave of Tom Baker stories, Monday to Friday at 5.00pm; the timeslot later changed to 5.30pm.
- 1983: The series moved to Fridays at 10.30pm with the compilation editions. A second compilation was eventually added to the schedule, on Saturday nights. In late 1986, the series aired on Saturdays only, at 10.00pm.
- 23 November 1983: The Five Doctors airs.
- 1986: In the mid-1980s, channel 2 screened the 17 repackaged William Hartnell stories. The second half of The Chase (i.e. parts 4-6) aired on Friday 16 May 1986.
- March 1986: Time and the Rani screens. The series airs Saturdays, at 11.00pm.
- October 1986: The series airs 10.00pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
- 5 October 1986: A "Dr Who Festival" is held at the Minneapolis Armory, with an appearance by the travelling Doctor Who Bus:

- PRESS COVERAGE: USA BUS TOUR in MINNESOTA 2
- 1988: The 24 repackaged Jon Pertwee stories screened by September 1988.
- 1991: During 1991, only two episode per week are screened, back to back on Sunday afternoons.
