- 6 July 1981: Tom Baker stories begin airing daily at 10:00pm.
- 6 August 1982: After ten months off the air, the Tom Baker stories begin again. Entire stories are aired each Friday night at 10:30.
- 11 November 1983: Wednesday night airings are added. After seven weeks the Friday airings are stopped.
- 23 November 1983: The Five Doctors airs.
- Later, the station considered Doctor Who to be too costly; presumably it was dropped as a result.
