TV was introduced to PANAMA in 1956. Although the series was not shown on any local terrestrial TV channels, it may have been seen via signals from neighbouring countries:
A run of Spanish-dubbed William Hartnell stories was seen in Costa Rica in 1971-72, followed by Tom Baker from 1980-83.
Omnibus editions of Tom Baker serials were also broadcast (in English) on the US Armed Forces Network (AFRTS) closed-circuit channel in the Panama Canal Zone in 1986, and Spanish viewers could see a sub-titled edition of the 1996 TV Movie via the HBO OLE cable station in 1999.
