- According to the Wiki site Doctor Who in Canada and the US WTVQ was one of the first stations to broadcast the Tom Baker stories in 1978. But no airdates in late 1978 / early 1979 have been located
- 1980: The series did, however, begin airing by September 1980, as reported in Starlog issue # 39 (September 1980).
