- 1978: The Tom Baker series initially aired as part of the childrens' afternoon show, Captain Chesapeake, at 3:30pm weekday, in that slot until at least December 1979.
- January 1980: The series shifted to Sundays, at 7:00pm. (We're not sure exactly when the shift occurred, but it was in ts old slot on 3 December 1979 but had moved to the new slot by 12 January 1980.)
- 17 February 1980: The Invisible Enemy part 3 aired.
- By September 1980: The slot had moved to 8:30pm by 27 September.
- December 1980: The series was still airing on Sundays at 8:30pm at the end of the year.
- 1982: The show was still on in 1982.
